Welcome to B'nai Israel, your Reform Jewish home in Sacramento, California. Our synagogue's history is nearly as old as the city itself, founded in 1849 as one of the first few synagogues west of the Mississippi.
B'nai Israel is a warm and inclusive congregation and welcomes all guests, including Jews by heritage, Jews by choice, secular Jews, interfaith families, couples, singles, children, and LGBTQIA members.
Friday, February 21, is the annual Women of B'nai Israel Shabbat/Reproductive Rights Shabbat.
